Bring Your Baby, Meet New Moms, and Learn How To Get Your Body Back
Wednesday, Sept. 9th 12-1pm, FREE
Getting your body back after pregnancy is more than just cardio and crunches (in fact most of you will want to avoid crunches and certain types of cardio).
Join Post-natal Trainer Zoe Levine for a discussion about the do's and don'ts in exercising the postnatal body.
- Learn how to check yourself for diastisis (abdominal split) and how to correct it,
- Learn what exercises you should avoid and which are best for this particular time,
- Learn about various pelvic floor issues and what you can do about them,
- Gain a better understanding of the timeline for getting back into shape,
- Discuss helpful hints for working out with baby,
- Learn tricks for working on the abdominals and pelvic floor muscles even before you are cleared for exercise,
- Leave with handouts for continued work on your own
This is not an exercise class, you do not have to be cleared for exercise yet to attend this workshop. This workshop will also be open to pregnant women or women trying to conceive. It is important material for any women to know!
